WOMB
This self-produced short film serves as my senior thesis, which is currently in production. The film depicts a woman's relationship with her mother, represented by the crumbling house that she is attempting to escape while also preserving it. I explored themes of empty nest syndrome, grief and everlasting care from a daughter's perspective. This film is dedicated to my mother.

During my internship with the Marketing and Communications Department at College for Creative Studies, I created my first stop-motion and also first self-produced animated short. "Cloudwatching", my beloved summer-long project is so special to me because I had an amazing team who put all their trust in my hands to create an ad campaign for the school. This piece was storyboarded, animated and edited by myself, with some compositing and sound design aid from my dear friends Jack Chisik and Jaylen Corbin.After ideating and storyboarding, I spent the first month learning how to make armatures, creating my clay character and her props, figuring out how to use a professional camera and DragonFrame. Then I began animating, spending a long time getting used to frame-by-frame animation. By Day 2 I fell in love with animating in this style, and knew I wanted to do stop-motion forever.
